Rentals

The Lorain County Fairgrounds has buildings, barns, and grounds to facilitate almost any event.

The buildings and grounds are frequently rented for wedding receptions, graduation parties, conventions, auctions, and more!  Package deals are available for rental of multiple buildings and grounds areas.  All rentals require a deposit, refunded upon satisfactory clean-up of the rented area.  Alcohol is permitted.  You must provide your own catering.

For a rental contract, pricing not listed, or more information, please call the office at 440-647-2781 ext 226 or email [email protected].  If we send you out a contract, we will hold the date for you and you will have ten business days to put a deposit on that contract.  If the deposit is not sent, the date will be released.  Deadlines will be specifically noted on the contract.  Check the calendar below to see if the date and building you want to reserve is available.

FAIR HALL – BUILDING 19  (tables and chairs included)

Rental fee due 90 days before date or 10% late fee penalty assessed

Fair Hall has bathrooms and a kitchen area (sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pots – no working stove) – see our Facebook page under the photo album “Fair Hall –  Decorated” for decorating/set-up ideas. Comfortably holds 350. No air-conditioning.  Approximately 6,000 square feet (120′ long / half is 60′ wide, the other half is 45′ wide where kitchen extends out with an 11′ high ceiling).  260 steel chairs, 100 wooden chairs, 32 5′ round tables, 12 6′ rectangular tables, and 18 8′ rectangular tables included to use for your event.

THE FOLLOWING ARE AVAILABLE TO RENT MAY 1 – OCTOBER 15 ONLY:

BUILDING 11  – seats approximately 250 – does not include tables and chairs; no bathrooms (must rent bathrooms)

BUILDING 17  (60′ x 100′) & 23 (50′ x 120′) – each seats approximately 250 and includes 8′ rectangular tables and chairs; no bathrooms (must rent bathrooms)

ADD-ON PACKAGE – Friday at noon thru Sunday at noon for Building 11, 17 or 23

RESTROOMS

DAIRY BARN (#02) AND SHOW BARN (#04) – does not include tables and chairs – no bathrooms included (must rent bathrooms)

ALL OTHER BARNS – does not include tables and chairs – no bathrooms (must rent bathrooms)

PAVILION ONE (behind grandstand) –  including grassy area around pavilion (must rent bathrooms); includes 25 picnic tables

PAVILION TWO (in front of Veterans & EMS Building) – includes 10 picnic tables (must rent bathrooms)

FOOD PAVILION (next to Building 17) – includes 14 picnic tables (must rent bathrooms)

Security deposit per each area/building or barn/ring rented
