Per Governor DeWine’s stay at home orders, the fair office will be closed until April 6. General questions can be answered on our website www.loraincountyfair.com, which will be updated with 2020 application dates by the end of April. Emails and voicemails will still be checked – please email [email protected]. We continue to take applications for vendor space and the deadline for premium book ads remains April 15. We will begin taking appointments to remove storage on April 7 for April 8 thru 30 pickup.

The families directly affected by this virus are in our prayers. We continue to work toward our 175th fair during this unprecedented time.

There will be a special Fair Board meeting on Tuesday, March 24 @ 7:30 pm in Fair Hall (to maintain social distancing) to discuss a proposal to replace the fair’s sound system.

We have a small supply of the 175th Lorain County Fair ornaments available for pick-up at the fair office for $20. This is a metal ornament 3″ x 4″. We also have t-shirts, sweatshirts, and season passes that make great stocking stuffers.  The fair office is open through Friday, December 20, from 9 am – 3 pm. The office will be closed the weeks of December 23 and 30.

175th ANNIVERSARY FAIR ORNAMENT – to order a 175th Lorain County Fair ornament, we are going to use our ticketing system to process the credit cards. You will have to select it as an event – one if you prefer to pick up, the other to have the ornament shipped. This is a preorder and we will be ordering ornaments on Thursday, November 22, so anything ordered by Thursday @ 11:00 pm will be $18.00 for pick up and $20.00 to have shipped (I’m sorry but we can’t discount shipping for multiple ornaments). After that, the ornaments will go up $2.00 each and we will place another order after December 6. We will take orders through December 6 @ 11:00 pm. This is a metal ornament 3″ x 4″. Pick up will be the weeks of December 9 (we will let you know when they arrive) and December 16. The office is open from 9 am – 3 pm, Monday – Friday. Thank you for a great 2019 fair, which included a sold out Foreigner concert and Combine Derby, “Carnival Eats” visiting us for two days to film for an episode featuring our fair in the spring, a successful Kids Day and Senior Citizens Day, thousands of Junior Fair and Open Class exhibits, and of course FOOD!!! Tickets to the Granger Smith (Monday) concert and Foreigner (Tuesday) concert will go on sale Friday, March 15 @ 10 am, ONLINE ONLY.
