Just a reminder that Sunday, August 22, is still free gate admission. It is part of our official dates because there will be harness racing held that day at 4:00 pm. The opening ceremonies and crowning of the Junior Fair King & Queen have also been moved to that day @ 5:00 pm. Other than that, it is as it always has been – there is no charge, rides and commercial vendors will not be open, and food vendors can open at their discretion.

The Lorain County Fair Board would like to extend a huge thank you to those that helped make the June 26 Save America event a safe, fun event for what we estimate to be a crowd of 28,000-30,000. To hold an event of this magnitude and not have any major issues means a lot of agencies, businesses, and individuals came together to make it happen. The Lorain County Fair Board is planning a full fair August 22-29. We are taking applications and filling vendor space. Camping and reserved parking information can be found on the “Services” page. We have not announced the grandstand entertainment yet or ticket sales hoping the cap on the number of tickets sold is raised or lifted. This website will be updated as more information becomes available.
