Fairgrounds Road will be down to one lane of traffic in and out of the fairgrounds for gas work starting June 2 through June 13. The road between Fairgrounds Road and Pitts Road (Fairgrounds West) will also be closed between Fairgrounds Road and Expo Way. The Pitts Road entrance will be open but you will not be able to access Fairgrounds Road coming in that entrance since a portion of Fairgrounds West will be closed.

There will be a special meeting on Tuesday, January 28 @ 7:00 pm to approve a logo for the agricultural society for advertising purposes and to approve a budget for Summerfest.

2024 ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT
The annual financial report of the Lorain County Agricultural Society, Inc., dba Lorain County Fair, for fiscal year 2024 has been completed. The report is available for inspection at the Secretary’s Office located on the fairgrounds at 23000 Fairgrounds Road, Wellington, OH 44090, during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm or by contacting Charisse Nikel at 440-647-2781.

2025 LORAIN COUNTY FAIR
The 2025 Lorain County Fair – our 179th Anniversary – will be August 17-24!
RESERVED PARKING UPDATE
UPDATE: At the August 13 Fair Board meeting, the parking committee informed the Board they made the decision to move the reserved parking by Pitts Road with a shuttle service running daily from 6:00 am to midnight. Refunds will be given in cash at the office starting on August 15 through Sunday, August 18 @ 6:00 pm. You must have your permit with you to receive a refund. They can also be put in the drop box in the front of the office by that deadline or mailed and postmarked by August 19. For passes mailed or put in the drop box, refunds will be issued by check and mailed no later than September 10 to the contact name and address on your application. Please note any changes to the contact information. Even if you request a refund, you will have your same spot number next year but the spot may not be in the same location, which will be determined when letters are sent out in May of 2025.
