Q: Where is the Secretary’s Office?
A: We are located inside the fairgrounds, near the grandstand. Come in the main gate, past the open draft horse barn, and turn left after the fenced horse ring. The Secretary’s Office is a white ranch-style building, Building 48 on the Fairgrounds Map.
Q: I have questions regarding Jr. Fair (4-H or FFA).

Q: How do I enter animals or other items in the fair?
A: Step-by-step instructions are available on the Entries page. We start taking entries on July 1 and the deadline to enter is August 5 @ 5:00 pm.
Q: What is the difference between a Membership Pass and a Season Pass?
A: A Membership Pass allows the holder to vote in the election for the Lorain County Agricultural Society directors (must be a Lorain County resident age 21+). The election is held Monday of fair from 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Q: What are the hours of the fair?
A: Gates open at 8:00 a.m. daily. Exhibitor buildings are open from 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Rides begin running at 1:00 p.m. Food stands will stay open as long as they are still selling. We have no set closing time: closing time depends on when the show lets out that evening and how long people are still walking around that night.

Q: Are pets allowed on the fairgrounds?
A: During fair, no pets are allowed on the grounds. Service dogs only.
Q: Is beer sold during the fair?
A: Beer will be sold in beer tents by the grandstands and only permitted in designated areas and not allowed on the midway.
Q: Do you have wheelchairs?
A: Aging in Place Mobility will be by Gate 4 with mobility scooters, wheelchairs (manual and motorized), and rollators available to rent. For pricing, more information, or to reserve ahead of time, please call 330-587-2293.
Q: Where is your lost & found?
A: We keep lost & found items at the Secretary’s Office. The Sheriff & Ambulance station at the main gate also keeps lost & found items.
Q: How do I get tickets for the shows?

Q: During fair week, do I have to pay at the gate just to come in and buy tickets for the shows?
A: Yes, you will pay regular gate admission. Come enjoy the rest of the fair!
Q: I have a young child. If he/she sits on my lap during a show, is he/she free?
A: Children under 2 who are sitting on a lap (and not taking up space with a stroller) are free. Children 2 & over must have a ticket to the show.
